ALEXANDER CHAVEZ, CPO, MSBME
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist ♦ Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering
Alex is an ABC-certified prosthetist-orthotist with experience in all types of upper and lower-extremity prosthetics and orthotics, including congenital limb differences.
- 2019 Alex received his M.S. in bioengineering from Florida International University and his B.A. in pre-physical therapy from Cal. State Dominguez-Hills.
- Since 2009, Alex has been a technician, educator, and researcher in the field. He is deeply fascinated by technology and enjoys “remaining up-to-date on the latest in bioengineering” as one of his leisure activities.
- He takes a remarkably compassionate approach to patient care. He is always ready to use his interpersonal network to ensure that his recommended solutions are best-in-class for all his patients.
Originally from Burbank, California, Alex has lived across the country, settling in Colorado to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and access a centrally-located international airport. In his free time, Alex enjoys snowboarding, hiking, philanthropic cheerleading, volunteering at adaptive sports events, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and tinkering with his collection of gadgets and powerful gaming computers.
