Movement begins with your own signalsMyoPro senses remaining muscle activity and provides powered assistance.
Why MyoPro
A custom orthosis that responds to remaining muscle activity.
Upper limb weakness or loss of function following stroke, injury or a neuromuscular condition can limit everyday activities. MyoPro is a custom myoelectric orthosis designed to support a weakened or paralyzed arm and hand.
Sensors detect the user’s electrical muscle signals. The device responds with powered assistance to help move the elbow, wrist or hand according to the configured system and the user’s training.
Qualification and outcomes vary. A medical provider must determine eligibility, and proper fitting and training are required.
Insurance and coverage supportWe accept all major insurances. We also work with the VA.

Breakthrough myoelectric technology
Designed to help translate intent into assisted movement.
Developed by Myomo in collaboration with MIT and Harvard Medical School, MyoPro uses the user’s own muscle signals to activate powered assistance.
For qualified users, functional goals may include meal preparation, lifting light objects, balancing while walking, pushing up from a seated position and participating in household activities.
Who may benefit
Qualification starts with your goals and remaining muscle activity.
MyoPro may be considered for people with upper limb weakness or loss of function related to stroke, brachial plexus injury or other neuromuscular conditions.
A clinical evaluation is required. The team will assess whether sufficient muscle signals are present, discuss functional goals and determine whether the device and required training are appropriate.
