Meet your Parker clinician
Alexander Chavez, CPO, MSBME
ABC-Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist · Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering
Alex has experience across upper- and lower-extremity prosthetics and orthotics, including care for congenital limb differences.
He has worked as a technician, educator and researcher in the field since 2009. In 2019, he earned a Master of Science in bioengineering from Florida International University after completing a bachelor’s degree in pre-physical therapy at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Alex combines technical curiosity with a compassionate approach to patient care. He remains engaged with current bioengineering developments and uses his professional network when additional expertise can help a patient’s care plan.

Originally from Burbank, California, Alex settled in Colorado for its outdoors and central access. Outside the clinic, he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, volunteering at adaptive sports events, philanthropic cheerleading, Dungeons & Dragons and working with computers and gadgets.
